Abu Dhabi park sets new Guinness World Record

ABU DHABI – Umm Al Emarat Park and Tadweer Group have set a new Guinness World Record in Abu Dhabi by creating the world’s largest recycled materials mosaic, made entirely from plastic bottle caps.

The 25-square-metre artwork, featuring recycling symbols, was developed through a community-driven initiative that invited residents, families and students to participate.

A total of 24,846 bottle caps were placed by 356 participants over 18 hours, as part of the “Cap Your Way to Sustainability” campaign, aimed at promoting recycling, waste reduction and environmental responsibility.

The record was officially recognised during an award ceremony at the park, marking a significant sustainability milestone for the emirate.
